From Fiverr gigs to Fortune 500 platforms.
I started where everyone starts: taking on anything. 100+ freelance gigs with 100% positive reviews taught me to ship fast and keep clients happy. Co-founding Catalyst Interactive, a digital agency doing branding, web, and e-commerce, taught me to build a business, not just software.
Going remote in 2015, years before it was normal, taught me discipline and communication. At OnePulse in London I helped build a real-time market research platform, handling back-end optimisation, DevOps, and infrastructure for household names I'd love to list but can't (NDAs are NDAs).
Then came nine years at Modus Create, where I went deep. Five years inside Pfizer's platforms: building the Canvas Web Builder for enterprise publishing, a dashboard stitching microservices together, and owning releases and hotfixes in production. Three years on Lightbox EDR's due-diligence platform, shipping custom features for JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo. Later, a Cardano token app for a Web3 startup and an AI code-quality toolkit orchestrating AWS Bedrock and local LLMs. Along the way I spent five years supervising final-year projects at the University of Moratuwa.
In 2025 I added an MBA to the toolbox, because the best technical decisions are business decisions too. I don't just build what you ask. I help you build what works.
That Modus Create chapter wrapped in mid-2026, and I'm now looking for my next role. Between the job hunt and the kids, I'm giving Motor.lk the serious push it's been waiting for: a motoring platform for Sri Lanka that fuses two of my obsessions: code and motorsport.
